Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food products
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and sanitation tasks
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience with meal preparation and handling various types of food
