Fast Kitchen Hoods, a leading Canadian manufacturer of commercial kitchen hoods, is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our Mississauga warehouse team. This role primarily involves warehouse duties, with the added advantage of occasional delivery opportunities for candidates with a valid truck driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving 24-28ft truck for local deliveries around GTA.
- Load and unload delivery vans efficiently and safely.
- Assist in organizing and storing inventory in the warehouse.
- Support the Branch Manager with various operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- Heavy truck driving experience.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
- Valid truck driver’s license.
Skills & Experience:
- Heavy truck driving experience (3+ years preferred).
- Previous warehouse experience (3+ years preferred).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically active role.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse organization.
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper handling of equipment.
