Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role is vital to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports the overall productivity of our organization. The Maintenance Worker will perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, machinery, and equipment to identify issues before they escalate
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components, fixtures, or systems to ensure optimal operation
- Assist with installation of new equipment or infrastructure upgrades
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or services when necessary
Experience
- Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general carpentry is highly desirable
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and effectively
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to maintenance work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance or related fields are a plus
Pay: $19.58 per hour
