CBRE Security Supervisor
The CBRE Security Supervisor is Located at 940 Blanshard and responsible for ensuring day-to-day business on site is conducted in a safe and efficient manner by excelling at regular site duties including exterior and interior patrols, maintaining positive relationships in the client, by providing exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
This role includes having regular communication with the Client Service Manager about any significant activities at the site, providing oversight and guidance to the team (coaching, recognition and corrective action), conducting Officer inspections, quality control checks, updating site documentation as applicable, and working with the on-site clients to improve the security functions of the site, as well as assisting with scheduling for 10+ CBRE sites.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Understand and proactively enforce the community rules and regulations with a courteous and respectful attitude.

Provide direction, motivation, and ongoing training to the security team by maintaining communication with team members and leading by setting positive examples.

Provide documented, critical feedback and coaching officer working on site, which is reviewed by the Client Service Manager.

Ensure all officers working have completed an orientation checklist by the end of their training. This includes the site orientation sheet, OH&S sheet, post order review.

Ensure all standing post orders, Tracktik chip placements and scheduled daily activities are being performed/followed properly by the security team.

Regularly maintain and update site discontents such as: post orders, orientation sheets, and training documents.

Creatively design ways to motivate the staff daily to ensure work is performed at a high standard, while maintaining a positive working environment.

Recognize exceptional performance by Security Officers and issue accolades where due.

Participate in progressive disciplinary meetings with Security Officers and the Client Service Manager as required.

Ensure memos, and documents are signed off regularly by the security team, hold individuals accountable for this process and escalate as necessary.

Assist in the investigation of security incidents and provide necessary details through proper chain of command for follow-up with external stakeholders.

Attend meetings with Client Service Manager to provide updates on the security program and day-to-day operations.

Have ongoing communication with client about the security program to ensure the efficient operation of the facility and provide notes to Client Service Manager when new procedures/concerns are mentioned.

Have superior written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy.

Extra-curricular training related to the field of security, including completion of several online training courses provided by Paladin (or willingness to complete within one month of accepting position)

Valid OFA-Level 1 and MOAB Certificates or willingness to complete within one month of accepting position.

Valid BC Security License
