Busy jobbing shop in Langley BC looking for skilled and passionate machinist that love and enjoy the machinist trade. We are willing to pay top wages for the right candidate.

You will be exposed to a wide variety of work and must enjoy being challenged as there are not too many repetitive parts. Must be able to work with a wide variety of materials and parts from 100 lbs to 5000 lbs

'Responsibilities'
- setup and operate CNC lathe and or mills
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Produce parts to a high standard
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for quality control.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
'Qualifications'
- Proven experience as a machinist with proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and blueprint reading skills.
- Familiarity with programming software, mastercam, gibbs, fusion, solidworks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to machining environments.
