We are looking for a committed Staff Pharmacist to join our thriving community pharmacy in Pembroke, Ontario. This role offers a fantastic chance to have a significant clinical impact in an area with limited primary care access, where your responsibilities go beyond dispensing prescriptions to being a key healthcare provider.
**Key Benefits:**
- Hourly wage between $65 and $67—among the highest staff pharmacist rates in Eastern Ontario.
- Signing bonus: $10,000 for a one-year commitment, or $20,000 for two years.
- Paid time off: 2 to 3 weeks of vacation.
- A complete support team of 1–2 pharmacists, 3 registered technicians, and 13 pharmacy assistants, allowing you to concentrate on clinical work without being overwhelmed by dispensing tasks.
**Clinical Services:**
- Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT)
- MedsCheck reviews
- Minor ailment assessment and prescribing
- Travel health consultations
- Blister pack/compliance packaging
- Immunizations
With 300 to 400 prescriptions daily and a continuously expanding patient base, you'll remain active and engaged, while strong team support keeps the workload manageable.
