Home Instead is seeking a reliable and professional Spanish-speaking Home Support Worker to join our team in Richmond. Due to the growing demand for Spanish-speaking care services, we are looking for someone with strong personal care experience who can provide exceptional support to seniors in their homes.
Work Schedule
This is a part-time position with a schedule that varies based on client care needs.
Applicants must be available to work at least one weekend day each week, either Saturday or Sunday.
Available shifts may include:
- 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Applicants should be comfortable with a schedule that may vary from week to week.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and support in Spanish
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
- Support mobility, transfers, and Hoyer lift use
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Complete light housekeeping and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings
- Monitor client well-being and communicate updates to the office
- Complete required care documentation
Qualifications and Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Minimum two years of professional caregiving or personal care experience
- Experience with personal care, mobility transfers, and Hoyer lifts
- Available to work at least one weekend day each week
- Available for varying shifts, including 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Able to complete a Criminal Record Check
- CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe certifications are assets
