We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) Specialist to join our manufacturing team in the Brampton area. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing inventory levels, ensuring timely procurement of materials, and supporting production schedules through effective demand planning and ERP system management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and investigate data
- Process 40-60 purchase orders with multiple vendors per day
- Communicate with suppliers for on time delivery to meet production schedule
- Scheduling of tankers for bulk deliveries
- Follow-up on back orders, missing parts or damaged goods on receipt
- Maintain material data in the ERP system (SAP)
- Inventory control for purchased materials
- Running and interpreting reports to control safety stocks and customer changes in demand as they may impact inventory
- Facilitate any payment issues with inventory discrepancies between Sun Chemical and suppliers
- Support physical inventory process and cycle counting.
- Minimize dormant or slow moving inventory
- Manage vendor owned inventory
- Back up other MRP Controllers as required
- Maintaining records
Qualifications:

- Proficient in Excel
- Post-Secondary Education with a focus Supply Chain Degree/Diploma
- Min 2 years Purchasing experience
- Knowledge of ERP system (SAP preferred)
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
