Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other food items, ensuring excellent food presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to recipes and quality standards
- Assemble pizzas with precision, ensuring proper portioning and presentation
- Cook pizzas in ovens, monitoring temperature and cooking times to achieve optimal results
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and maintaining ingredient stations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all food handling procedures meet health regulations
- Serve customers at the counter or assist with dine-in service as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order completion during busy hours
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred, especially within a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience in meal preparation and food industry operations is advantageous
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if required
