Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute projects
- Frame walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Perform concrete forming and finishing as required for various projects
- Utilize power tool techniques for building or modifications when necessary
- Conduct restoration work to repair or refurbish existing structures
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites to maintain a safe working environment
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate project progress
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and welding techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
- Knowledge of siding installation and general carpentry practices
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively
