We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle freight effectively.
Duties :
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting safety on the road.
Skills
- Valid AZ Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations.
- Minimum 2 year commercial driving experience.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and compliance with regulations.
