Overview
The South Okanagan Similkameen Brain Injury Society (SOSBIS) has provided essential support to individuals with acquired brain injuries and their families since 1991. They aim to help survivors build independence while navigating the challenges of brain injury.
Responsibilities
- Under direction of the Team lead and reporting to the Executive Director, the Case Manager will be responsible to determine needs and priorities of new referrals by:
- Completing Intake Assessment
- Develop Individual Services Plan
- Provide Case Management
- Behavioural and psychosocial interventions to individuals and families who are experiencing an acquired brain injury.
Requirements
Qualifications: Degree in Psychology or Social Work, Community Rehab Degree or Nursing Degree. Knowledge of case management models for providing services to individuals with acquired brain injury would be an asset. Minimum 2 years previous experience.
Other requirements:
- Class 5 Drivers License with reliable transportation as driving is required
- Clean criminal record check,
- Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Excellent communication skills
- Competence and sensitivity while working with our clients and community stakeholders
Pay: $50,400.00 per year
