Job Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Engineer, the Maintenance Technician is part of a team responsible for the general maintenance of all production equipment to optimize machinery output and smooth operation of Food Safety.
Key Responsibilities and Accountability:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all machinery in the facility
- Perform daily preventive maintenance procedures on building and production equipment in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Correct deficiencies found on the equipment during the execution of the PM inspections
- Report equipment condition, deficiencies found and corrected, materials used, and generate follow up work orders using the reporting methods in place.
- Complete inventory counts of spares, consumables, and materials required to perform the PM activities.
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping as required to maintain productive equipment in good condition.
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and collaborate during emergency repairs of productive equipment.
- Work strictly in compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, GMP’s and promote a safe environment
- Any other maintenance responsibilities assigned

Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge of troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Hands-on experience maintaining industrial equipment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, lubrication equipment, electrical meters, and testers.
- Problem-solving skills.
