Clip Kings is a 5.0‑star rated barbershop located at 370 Steeles Ave W #105 in Thornhill, ON. We provide a “sanctuary” environment focused on precision, respect, and high‑level grooming rituals. Our shop is known for professional skin fades, traditional hot towel shaves, and signature facial treatments.
The Role
We are hiring an experienced professional barber who can confidently manage a full client from consultation to finish, without supervision. This position is not suitable for current students or barbers who have only worked as apprentices.
Compensation Structure
- Commission: 50% split on all services (before tax).
- Tips: 100% retention – you keep all tips earned.

Professional Requirements
- Technical skill: Proficiency in regular cuts, precision skin fades, beard sculpting (machine and straight razor), and luxury head shaves.
- Advanced detail: Ability to perform, or willingness to learn, facial waxing, threading, and multi‑step facial rituals.
- Proven experience: Minimum 1-2 years working independently as a barber in a professional shop (beyond apprenticeship hours or student placement).
- Licensing: Current barber/hairstylist license or registration as required by Skilled Trades Ontario.
- Conduct: High standard of professionalism, reliability, and client‑facing etiquette; able to manage your own station, timing, and client relationships.
