Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roll Off Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport and dispose of waste materials efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver waste containers at various job sites.
- Conduct routine inspections of the truck and associated equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections.
- Follow all local transportation regulations, including commercial driving requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Operate heavy equipment safely during loading/unloading processes, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times.Experience
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience operating roll-off trucks in the waste management sector.
- Basic skills are a plus for performing routine maintenance or minor repairs on trucks.
- Experience working in waste management. This role is vital for maintaining efficient waste disposal operations while prioritizing safety and professionalism in every task performed.
Pay: $22.93-$33.46 per hour
