Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office administration, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to provide outstanding patient service. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, managing patient interactions, and supporting the clinical team. Prior experience with electronic medical records and dental management software is highly preferred.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment
- Manage Email/Text and phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and confirm patient details
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems such Paradigm/Logic Tech
- Verify insurance information and process billing and payments efficiently
- Prepare and update patient charts, ensuring all documentation complies with privacy regulations
- Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize provider availability and patient flow
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and correspondence
- Support the clinical team by providing administrative assistance as needed during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office setting
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Paradigm/LogicTech
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle email, Text and multi-line phone systems effectively
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and scheduling
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Experience with electronic dental records (EDR) systems and office administration procedures
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes and billing procedures is a plus
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
