Support all parts functions including parts sales, sourcing and ordering used parts; Inventory control
Develop and maintain customer relationships through front counter sales and shop parts sales
Pulling customer and branch parts orders, processing parts credits and Core inspections
Sorting and binning incoming stock, packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
Participate in parts related special projects and assignments, call quality and performance initiatives as required Support and engagement in all Health and Safety related activities
Support in all Employee Experience Survey (ESS) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) activities
Other functions may include but are not limited to:
NEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT parts
Hydraulic Hose building
Procurement of non-CAT parts
Managing backordered parts
Qualifications:
Journeyperson Parts Certification (Red Seal preferred) coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
Knowledge in expanded mining is considered an asset
A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
Capable of working with minimal supervision
Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package will be considered assets
Industry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy: mining, heavy construction and technology products
Important Details:
12 Hours per Day
21 x 21 Continuous Day Shift / Night Shift Rotation (21 Days/21 Off/21 Nights)
Travel Allowance to get to marshalling point
Up to $1,200 per rotation (to cover associated costs of getting to marshalling point)
Customer flights provided from Edmonton or Yellowknife
Customer Camp provided
