We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and painting
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate construction work
- Support carpentry, plumbing, welding, and restoration tasks as directed by supervisors
- Mix and apply caulking, drywall compound, paint, or other finishing materials to achieve desired results
- Operate equipment safely and follow all safety protocols on-site
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus
- Experience with drywall installation, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying or restoration work is beneficial
- Willingness to learn new skills such as carpentry, plumbing, welding or construction painting
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work safely in a team environment
