Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our technology-based traffic safety device business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial analysis. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced accounting software and tools to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in supporting budgeting, auditing, and financial services operations within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using NetSuite and Excel
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and ledger maintenance
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Support budgeting activities by preparing financial reports and forecasts
- Participate in auditing processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations
- Process payroll accurately and timely using appropriate payroll systems
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation
Experience
- Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role within corporate finance or financial services
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms, with NetSuite being a preferred skill
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping practices
- Experience with account analysis, budgeting, payroll processing, and auditing procedures
- Familiarity with account payable/receivable management and financial reporting standards
- Ability to analyze complex financial data accurately and efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
