This well established park hosts local staycationers and guests from around the world. Regular camping season runs from April through October with 178 full service sites. Our company is seeking highly motivated, mature grounds crew to help support our team. Wood Lake RV Park and Marina’s primary focus is guest service and guest overall satisfaction. Dealing with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations is key and will be practiced at all times. This is a seasonal, full time position until mid November each year.
The ideal candidate for grounds crew will be self motivated, have exceptional attention to detail and posses an amazing, outgoing personality. Previous hospitality experience in a campground or hotel setting is preferred, but not required.
Must haves:
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid BC Drivers License
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs)
- Ability to use hand and mechanical tools
- Promote job safety; encouraging safe workplace practices
- Adhering to all WorkSafe policies, procedures and guidelines
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers and chainsaws
