Job Title: AZ/DZ Driver
Position Summary:
The AZ/DZ Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles, including trucks, flatbeds, or other commercial vehicles, in compliance with company and government regulations.
- Transport materials, equipment, and personnel to job sites safely and on time.
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety, maintenance, and operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate records, including delivery logs, fuel usage, mileage, and any incidents.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and site personnel regarding schedules, delays, or issues.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Report any accidents, damage, or vehicle issues immediately.
Qualifications:
- Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles in industrial or construction settings is an asset.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety inspections.
- Strong time management, reliability, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and carry materials, if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
