Belvoir Cooperative Nursery School is currently hiring one Program Assistant to support all of our programs, with part-time hours.
The days of work may vary, but hours will range between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM starting anytime between these hours. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of young children in a supportive environment.
Reliable transportation is a must, as we are located outside of city of London limits.
Salary will be established in accordance with the candidate’s education, experience, and demonstrated qualifications.
Program assistants will be required to implement our quality programs for children ensuring the supervision and safety of all.
Preference will be given to Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE); however, this is not a requirement to apply. Applicants should hold a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education with membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators, or possess a related qualification such as a Bachelor of Education, Child and Youth Worker, Developmental Service Worker, or a degree in Child Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Recreation.
Relevant experience working with children is required. A current Vulnerable Sector Check and valid First Aid certification, including Child and Infant CPR, are also required.
