Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and treatments
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products such as hair care products, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client experience and salon revenue
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere that encourages repeat business
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
- Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education and training
Qualifications
- Threading and waxing skills
- Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and treatment techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for salon hygiene
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally during client interactions
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required
- A professional appearance with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude
