Maxum Excavating Ltd currently has immediate opportunities for experienced Civil Construction Excavator Operators. The position offers union wages, and benefits including paid overtime, medical and dental, and pension contributions.
Maxum Excavating Ltd is a civil underground utilities company and a member of the IUOE union based out of the Lower Mainland. We focus on underground utility installations, site development, road construction, and excavation for public, private, commercial, and subdivision projects.
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating excavators with a civil crew
- Must be able to adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality
- Experience digging around utility infrastructures
- General knowledge of equipment maintenance, greasing/fueling and checking fluid levels
- Willing and able to work in severe weather conditions while prioritizing safety
- Effective communication skills
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and good character
- Reliable and able to work both independently and as a team player
- Candidates MUST reside in the Lower Mainland area to be considered for the position
- A valid driver’s license is required along with a reliable vehicle for travel to various worksite locations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
