Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
- Handle cashiering responsibilities including cash handling, processing payments, and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, counters, and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards and guest safety
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; a background in the food industry is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for cashiering tasks
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
