Overview
Lloyds Laboratories Inc is looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in a variety of accounting functions
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and continuous improvement in financial processes.
Duties
- Issue billing invoices and record incoming purchases
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Perform data entry tasks related to billing, payments, and account updates with high attention to detail
- Process bi-weekly payroll with a high level of accuracy in a timely manor and that all confidential information is maintained
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding payment status via phone or email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Collaborate with the accounting team on other bookkeeping functions as needed
- Support negotiation efforts for payment arrangements when necessary
Skills
- CPA designation or working towards their CPA designation
- 3 to 5 years of relevant public accounting experience
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience using accounting software such as Adagio / Sage / QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping programs, MS Excel and Word are essential
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Customer service expertise with courteous phone etiquette and communication skills
- Math skills necessary for accurate calculations and financial analysis
- Ability to perform account analysis efficiently and work independently within a team environment
