Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team.
The ideal candidate will operate lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Duties
- Operate lathes, milling machines, and related machinery
- Read and interpret technical drawings to produce accurate parts.
- Set up machines with appropriate tooling, including hand tools, power tools, calipers as needed.
- Use precision measuring instruments like calipers to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety guidelines.
- There is no CNC Machining at our facility
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role with mechanical knowledge of machining processes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Proficiency in operating Lathes, milling machine etc.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawing
- Ability to use calipers and other precision measurement tools accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining specifications.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety compliance.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
