Maintenance Supervisor (Afternoon Shift) -M-F from 2:00pm till 10:00pm

You’ll be leading a talented, dedicated team of licensed mechanics and setup technicians, driving continuous improvement, and keeping a high-efficiency operation running smoothly.
- Hourly Rate: $45.00 / hour
- Shift Premium: + $0.50 / hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead & Mentor: Provide clear direction and leadership to our maintenance team to maximize efficiency and support their technical development through ongoing training.
- Drive Reliability: Oversee the predictive/preventative maintenance (PM) program, monitor weekly work order hours to minimize reoccurring issues, and implement smart, continuous improvements.
- Keep Us Running: Manage machine parts inventory stock levels, maintain strong vendor relationships, and manage labor costs/overtime to align with production needs.
- Collaborate: Participate in cross-functional corrective action meetings and support new program launches (APQP) by providing critical historical maintenance data.
What we’re looking for:
- The Ticket: A valid Licensed Trade certification (Millwright or electrician or MTBI, or Tool & Die).
- The Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role AND at least 5 years of licensed maintenance experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Practical experience with the cold forming and bending of small-diameter metals (steel, aluminum, stainless is an asset
- knowledge of welding (MIG, TIG, Arc) is an asset
- Familiarity with modern maintenance systems (work orders, PM scheduling).
- Education: Completion of Grade 12 or GED.
