Sales & Customer Experience Specialist – Fitness Equipment

We are a growing fitness equipment retailer specializing in home gym and strength training products. We're looking for energetic, knowledgeable team members who are passionate about fitness and naturally enjoy connecting with people.
The Role
This is more than a typical sales position. You'll use your real-world fitness knowledge to guide customers toward the right equipment, build lasting relationships, and ensure a seamless experience from first inquiry through after-sales support. If you're someone who lights up a room, knows your way around a squat rack, and takes pride in solving problems — we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in-store and online, delivering expert product recommendations based on hands-on fitness knowledge
- Drive sales through consultative selling — understanding customer goals and matching them with the right equipment
- Handle after-sales support including order follow-ups, returns, warranty inquiries, and backend customer service tasks
- Maintain an organized, welcoming showroom environment
- Collaborate with the team on daily store operations and inventory management
Who You Are
- Outgoing, personable, and genuinely enjoy talking to people — you're the type who builds rapport naturally
- Hands-on experience with gym equipment and strength training (you actually train, not just "interested in fitness")
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or equivalent certification is a strong plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred; candidates with significant industry experience will also be considered
- Comfortable handling both sales conversations and administrative/after-sales tasks
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple customer inquiries at once
- Prior sales, retail, or customer-facing experience is an asset
