Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Aircraft Cleaner/Painter to join our team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of aircraft surfaces through cleaning and painting processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that aircraft meet safety, quality, and aesthetic standards, contributing to the overall customer experience and operational efficiency. Prior experience in cleaning or painting is required, and training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft exteriors and interiors, including surfaces, windows, and cabins
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primers as needed
- Apply paint or coatings to aircraft surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure all cleaning and painting tasks comply with safety standards and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and properly dispose of waste materials
- Assist with inspection tasks to identify areas requiring additional attention or repair
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- 1-2 years previous experience in cleaning or painting is required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Good customer service skills to interact professionally with team members and clients when necessary
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights if required
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to working with chemicals, paints, and cleaning agents is desirable but not mandatory
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
