Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our office is open 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday, and we are looking for part or full time position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Assess patients' oral health and document findings in the patient management system.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Experience with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
- Previous dental assisting experience is beneficial but not required.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for building rapport with patients and ensuring their comfort during visits.
