We are currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, communicates clearly and professionally, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and approaches problem solving with a positive attitude. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to become part of the family here at Kokanee Ford.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Schedule service appointments and maintain organized workflow
- Communicate vehicle concerns and repair recommendations clearly to customers
- Liaise between customers and technicians to ensure smooth communication
- Prepare estimates, invoices, and service documentation
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain strong relationships
- Assist in maintaining a high standard of customer service within the service department
- Support the team environment and contribute positively to dealership culture
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and ability to remain professional in problem-solving situations
- Foundational understanding of automotive mechanics
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in the automotive industry, preferably in service advising or service administration
- Knowledge and experience with PBS Systems is considered a strong asset
