Job Description:
We are currently looking for a responsible and hardworking Sanitation Lead to join our team in Cambridge, ON. The ideal candidate will have experience in sanitation, cleaning, and leading a team in a warehouse, production, or food facility environment.
As a Sanitation Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the workplace is clean, organized, and maintained according to company standards. You will also help guide the sanitation team and make sure all cleaning tasks are completed properly and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the sanitation team during daily cleaning tasks
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, floors, and facility spaces
- Make sure all sanitation procedures are followed correctly
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Report any maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns
- Follow all health and safety rules and company policies
- Assist with training and guiding team members when required
Requirements:
- Previous sanitation, cleaning, or warehouse experience preferred
- Leadership or team lead experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to lift, bend, stand, and walk for long periods
- Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Pay Rate:
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour, with opportunity for increase based on performance and experience.
