Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. This role requires keen observation skills, integrity, and a professional demeanor to uphold the safety standards of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the property.
- Enforce security policies by checking identification and access permissions at entry points.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries in a courteous manner.
- Conduct loss prevention activities by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening when necessary.
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or concerns.
Skills
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in operating CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and vandalism effectively.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential threats or irregularities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under stressful situations.
- Good communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public.

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
