Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in related trades such as plumbing, welding, and appliance repair. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation units
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure efficient operation of HVAC equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for system installation and repairs
- Conduct plumbing and mechanical work related to HVAC systems as needed
- Weld components or parts requiring fabrication or repair
- Diagnose issues with boilers or other mechanical components within HVAC systems
- Assist with construction or renovation projects involving HVAC infrastructure
- Perform appliance repairs related to heating and cooling systems
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems installation and repair
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience with plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair is highly desirable
- Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation projects
- Mechanical experience as a mechanic or in maintenance roles preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
