MiLo Group Ltd. is looking for Journeyperson Plumbers/ Foremen to join our dynamic field construction team. These are full-time, field-based roles involving working on site installations, renovations, and construction projects.
What You'll Do:
As part of our Plumbing Team, you will:
- Interpret blueprints and follow industry codes (apprentices will receive guidance and training in this area).
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.).
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of boilers, furnaces, and hydronic systems.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to on-site changes.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades.
- Follow all safety protocols, codes, and company policies.
- Journeymen: plan for efficient use of apprentices and foresee material requirements.
- Journeymen: lead and mentor apprentices when required; lead hand or foreman experience is an asset.
What We're Looking For:
- Journeyperson Applicants: Red Seal Plumbing and Gas Certification (Required)
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Commercial, residential, agricultural, or rural service experience considered an asset.
- HVAC experience is considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel for site requirements.
- Familiarity with Alberta plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of MiLo products and terminology (we’ll help you get up to speed!)
Bonus Assets (not required to apply):
WHMIS, CSTS, Fall Protection, MEWP/Aerial Work Platform, and First Aid
Wages:
Journeyperson: $38.00 - $42.00 / hour
