One of our client is currently seeking an experienced and licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician to join their operations team in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic abilities, hands-on repair experience, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
- Inspect vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, electrical, and engine components.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid checks.
- Use computerized diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Complete safety inspections and ensure all work complies with Ontario safety standards.
- Maintain accurate repair orders, service records, and inspection documentation.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding repair status and recommendations.
- Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs and proper vehicle performance.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician License (required).
- Must have 1-5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Own tools are considered an asset.
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
