General Labour – Days to Afts - (Temporary to Permanent)
About Our Client
Our client is a leader in supplying fresh produce to the food and retail industries. This company is one of the most well-known food & beverage companies in the Burlington area primarily focusing on potatoes; from product grating, production, packing and distribution. The food you are working with is showcased in the very grocery stores you visit!
What You Will Be Doing:
● Packaging, inspecting and grading products (food inspection)
● Fast pace and high attention to detail
● Organizing the warehouse
● lifting 20lbs
What You Should Have:
● previous inspection or production experience preferably in food
● Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
● Must be willing to help with general labour duties when required
● Must be available full time (40+ hours)
● CSA Approved Safety Shoes/Boots
In Return, You Will Receive:
● $17.60 per hour
● Paid weekly, every Friday, 1 week behind
● Lots of overtime available
● Opportunity for permanent hire
● 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
● Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will Be Working is:
● Monday to Friday and weekends
● Lots of overtime available
● 7am-6pm
Where You Will Be Working, as a Grader:
● Clay Avenue & Sutton Drive (Burlington)
● May not be bus accessible to most
