Job Title: WordPress Web Developer
Job Overview:
This is an in-person position, only candidates who are currently located in Saskatoon and are legally eligible to work in Canada will be considered.

The role of the WordPress Web Developer plays a critical part in achieving our mission and vision to help businesses and organizations find success online. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Creating the website architecture
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins
- Implement custom WordPress themes
- Customize and develop WordPress plugins, Stylesheets and responsive design elements for mobile compatibility
- Conducting website performance tests
- Troubleshooting content issues
- Conducting WordPress training with the client
- Monitoring the performance of the live website
Qualifications:
- Web Developer certifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science is preferable
