Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and efficient delivery operations.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated locations within scheduled timeframes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle readiness
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities
- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (class 1) with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to trucking and freight handling
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior experience with automotive repair or troubleshooting is advantageous
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment
