Seasonal (Summer – Potential Fall Extension)

Me.n.u Canada Limited is one of the GTA’s fastest-growing Asian fusion food trucks, serving corporate events, large-scale festivals, weddings, and premium private catering. We are seeking experienced, dependable food & beverage professionals who take pride in high standards, efficiency, and organization.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for individuals who can work with urgency, maintain strict operational standards, and operate independently with minimal supervision.
Core Responsibilities
Service & Kitchen Execution
Perform line cook duties (frying, assembling menu items)
Execute light prep and maintain speed during high-volume service
Maintain clean and organized stations at all times
Inventory & Stock Management
Refill dry goods, paper products, condiments, and expendables per inventory lists
Stock refrigerators and freezers for service prior to each shift
Rotate inventory using FIFO principles
Remove inventory after each food truck service to ensure cleanliness standards
Cleaning & Operational Readiness
Thoroughly clean and sanitize all interior surfaces
Clean refrigerators, freezers, cabinets, and equipment
Wash and polish interior/exterior windows
Maintain truck exterior (spray down)
Ensure all equipment is wiped down, organized, and service-ready
Follow all company checklists and procedures without supervision
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 1 year food & beverage or kitchen experience (required)
Strong sense of urgency and ability to perform under pressure
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks
Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Ability to reliably commute to Markham (Steeles & Pharmacy Ave)
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive is strongly preferred
Schedule
3–6+ hour shifts
3–5 shifts per week
Lunch, dinner, and occasional late-night service
