We are scaling rapidly and need an experienced heavy-hitter to manage our influx of leads.
The Role
We are looking for a Experienced Sales Specialist with proven experience in both Structural Steel and Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB).
You will be the first point of contact for General Contractors, Developers, and Business Owners. You aren't just taking orders; you are consulting on building codes, clear-span requirements, and structural feasibility to close high-ticket projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultative Sales: Manage a pipeline of warm, inbound leads. Determine if the client needs a cost-effective Pre-Engineered solution or a custom Structural Steel application.
- Technical Estimating: Review architectural drawings and tender documents to provide accurate quotes for complex commercial and industrial projects.
- Project Management: Guide clients through the design phase, coordinating with our engineering team to ensure all snow, wind, and seismic loads meet local Canadian codes.
- Closing: Overcome technical objections, negotiate contract terms, and secure deposits for projects ranging from $50k to $1M+.
Compensation
This will be an uncapped commission pay

- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of sales experience specifically in Steel Buildings, Structural Steel Fabrication, or Industrial Construction.
- Technical Knowledge: You must be able to read construction blueprints and understand key concepts (e.g., I-Beam vs. Web Truss, clear span, bay spacing, R-values).
- The "Hybrid" Skillset: You know when to sell a pre-engineered kit and when a project requires a custom structural steel approach.
- Closer Mentality: You are money-motivated, organized, and persistent. You know how to follow up until the deal is signed.
