Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook 1 Seasonal to join our culinary team from June through November. This role involves preparing and cooking food items, ensuring high-quality meal service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food safety practices, and experience in a restaurant or food service setting. This seasonal position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while gaining valuable experience in the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation guidelines
- Serve food to guests efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Follow proper food safety protocols during meal preparation and service
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with additional tasks as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently under time constraints
- Excellent attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and guests
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and hygiene
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
