Pest control technicians
Propco, one of the leaders in pest control services in Ontario, is looking to hire pest control technicians. The preferred candidates are people who enjoy the challenges of working in dynamic environments with nature while making a positive impact in people’s lives.
We are looking to hire technicians for the Hamilton, Halton and surrounding area.
Candidates must have the following credentials and abilities:
- A “G”. driving license,
- A clear criminal record,
- A structural pest control license is preferred but we are willing to train candidates towards passing the governmental exam.
- Must enjoy working with people as the job consists of a high level of customer interaction.
- Must be comfortable working within public buildings such as police stations, hospitals, fire departments, museums, libraries, schools, apartment buildings, and a few restaurants.
- Must be comfortable to drive a small truck
- Ability to drive on all type of roads including highways, city and rural roads
- Must be comfortable working with technology such as phones and phone applications (on which we’ll train you to use in the field)
- Ability to speak English and work with people from various cultural backgrounds
- Willingness to work during the day or in the evenings according to the needs of the clients
- Must have great time management skills
- Must enjoy working with nature, animals, and insects
- Must be willing to learn how to do small maintenance repairs on sprayers and other equipment.
We’ll provide candidates with competitive payment, the training necessary to get licensed, a truck, a phone, a uniform and all the tools and materials necessary to operate.
