We’re looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our friendly general dental practice, where we provide the full spectrum of dentistry—from preventive and restorative care to cosmetic, surgical, and digital dentistry. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Part-Time Position for Mondays, Wednesdays and every other Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Welcome and guide patients, ensuring comfort and confidence throughout their visit
- Assist chairside during a wide range of dental treatments and procedures, including restorative, surgical, cosmetic, and digital workflows
- Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe, hygienic environment
- Capture dental X‑rays, impressions, scans, and intraoral photos using advanced digital tools
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment aftercare, and preventive practices
- Maintain accurate patient records and support the upkeep of dental equipment
- Monitor and manage clinical supplies and inventory
- Collaborate with the team to uphold a supportive, respectful, and organized environment
- Build rapport with patients—our practice values warm, personal, relationship‑based care
Qualifications
- Level I or II Dental Assistant certification (HARP required)
- 1+ year of chairside assisting preferred, but we’re happy to train a motivated hard working new graduate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable in a dynamic clinical setting
- Experience with ClearDent is an asset, not a requirement
- IPAC knowledge/certification is an asset
- HARP/CPR certified
- WHMIS certification is an asset
