Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Attendant to join our team for weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for caring for animals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our furry clients. Duties
- Feed, water, and administer medication to animals as directed
- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Monitor animal behavior and report any signs of illness or distress to management
- Assist with exercise and socialization activities for the animals
- Provide compassionate customer service to pet owners and visitors
- Maintain accurate records of animal care activities
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or assisting with large animals
Requirements
- Prior experience in animal care or customer service is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a caring attitude towards animals
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work independently and responsibly during weekend shifts
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety protocols
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
