Playocity is a dynamic enrichment company bringing movement, creativity, and play into schools and childcare centres. We are currently hiring energetic instructors to lead engaging, movement-based programs for children (ages 6–12). The program focuses on a game-based approach to sports - building teamwork, confidence, and coordination through fun, inclusive activities rather than traditional drills.
What You'll Do:
- Lead high-energy, structured classes
- Facilitate games that build teamwork, coordination, and confidence
- Adapt activities for different ages and group sizes
- Manage groups of up to 15 children
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment
- Arrive prepared and on time with equipment and lesson plan
Requirements
- Experience working with children (daycare, school, camps, coaching, etc.)
- Background in team sports, fitness, or recreation and comfortable leading sports-based activities
- Energetic, confident, and comfortable leading groups
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly
- Availability during weekdays (school hours)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
Pay: $50.00 per hour
