Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, experience with office management software, and excellent communication abilities. Prior experience in medical or dental offices is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Handle filing, document proofreading, and general clerical tasks to support daily office functions
- Support bookkeeping activities and assist with basic financial record keeping
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings for staff and clients
- Assist with administrative projects as needed to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain organized office spaces and ensure supplies are stocked and properly stored
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles, preferably in medical or dental offices
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Experience with data entry, proofreading, filing systems, and managing multi-line phone systems is preferred
- Prior experience in medical or dental office environments is a plus but not mandatory
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or bookkeeping certifications are advantageous
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
