We’re looking for a hands-on Field Technician based in or near Didsbury to support equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting both in our shop and at client sites.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving technical problems, and being out in the field. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians to build practical skills in equipment setup, electronics, power systems, and data collection.

Install, maintain, and remove field equipment at client sites

Assist with troubleshooting hardware, sensors, and communication systems

Perform routine maintenance and repairs

Help prepare and test equipment in the Didsbury shop

Follow procedures for data collection and documentation

Support internal teams and external partners with technical issues

Follow all safety policies in shop and field environments

Strong mechanical or technical aptitude

Comfortable working outdoors and traveling to job sites

Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems

Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn

Experience with:

Electronics or electrical systems

Networking (Ethernet, communications equipment)

Solar (photovoltaic) or power systems

Experience in field work, construction, oil & gas, or similar environments

CDL or ability to obtain one
