Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. This role involves operating drilling equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience in the oil & gas industries, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. The Driller will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient drilling operations while maintaining compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee drilling equipment, including drilling machinery, ensuring proper setup and operation
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of drilling tools and machinery to prevent malfunctions
- Assist with site preparation, including the use of forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
- Support construction activities by coordinating with team members to meet project deadlines
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all drilling operations
- Monitor drilling parameters and adjust operations accordingly for optimal performance
- Maintain detailed logs of drilling activities, equipment usage, and safety checks
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on drilling equipment
- Experience in the oil & gas industries is highly preferred
- Knowledge of drilling techniques and equipment operation
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and environmental regulations in oil field settings
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adapt to changing project needs
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Class 5 License with air brake endorsement
- Clean driving abstract
- Up to date oilfield tickets
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
